Introduction to the provincial library´s digital services
Training on the Provincial Library´s digital services includes an introduction to the Teßmann in myArgo library catalogue, Teßmann digital, Biblio24 und myArgo – the South Tyrol Union Catalogue. The training aims to teach participants when and how to best use the respective services and enables them to independently find digital and physical media on the platforms mentioned.
The programme is aimed at lower and upper secondary school classes with their teachers and takes place in the seminar room of the Provincial Library.

Introduction to the Chiri student portal
We offer introductions to the Chiri student portal, which comprises three databases featuring editorially checked and reliable information. The search portal for students aged 11 to 19 is a useful source of information for research projects, presentations, homework and other school assignments.
During the introduction, participants will learn how to log in to Chiri and about the three Chiri databases (Brockhaus, Munzinger, Statista). Special attention is paid to the application capabilities and functions of these databases.
The programme is aimed at lower and upper secondary school classes with their teachers and takes place in the seminar room of the Provincial Library.

Research training with Chiri
In the seminar room of the Provincial Library, students use iPads to research the Chiri student portal either alone or in small groups. This training teaches participants to search for and find specific information on a given topic. In addition to an introduction to various research techniques, emphasis is placed on the correct citation of sources and the application of different citation standards. The aim of the training is to teach participants how to efficiently find relevant information in the three databases (Brockhaus, Munzinger and Statista).
