Places for studying and working

The Provincial Library provides a quiet location for studying in the heart of Bolzano. The reading room offers a large number of study and workstations, as well as three carrel desks, which are freely accessible to all during opening hours. These are fitted with power outlets and can be used without being booked.
In the reading room you will also find the newspaper and magazine corner, where you can consult the latest daily newspapers and some of our specialist magazines.
The reading courtyard, where additional workstations are located, is also open during the warmer months.
Users can use the research computers in the foyer to search the library catalogue and order items. Two dedicated computers are available for digital access to the Teßmann portal. The Quick-PC can be used to surf the Internet for up to 15 minutes and to process or print out documents.

Internet use
Access to the Internet and WLAN is available to all registered users aged 16 or over. Users under the age of 16 need authorisation in writing from their parents.
